The Technology

Needle Free Jet Injection Technology, the PharmaJet system is manufactured from a sophisticated, proprietary design to be as safe, simple, inexpensive and durable as possible. The safety of both caregiver and patient is assured because PharmaJet syringes are never reusable. Quick and simple to use, and easy to learn to use, it is the right instrument for mass vaccination campaigns and any situation where large numbers of people need to be treated quickly and reliably—as well as in any sophisticated clinical environment.

Cocking Device

  • Cocking is simple and mechanical, designed to be performed manually.
  • The cocking device serves as a storage unit for the injector when not in use.

Injector

  • Injector never touches the patient, eliminating the possibility of cross-contamination.
  • Simply spring loaded for injection delivery, it requires no CO2, batteries or external power source.
  • Built-in safety features support accurate delivery of medicine, and reduce accidental discharge.
  • Injector can deliver thousands of vaccinations and is waranted for one year.

Syringe

  • Cannot be re-used. When engaged, the proprietary seal/plunger cannot be withdrawn.
  • Can be pre-filled and stored with vaccines or medicines (subject to specific stability studies), saving in delivery time and labor, and reducing drug counterfeiting.
  • Point of use filling just prior to use is immediately and easily accommodated.
  • Easily disposed of through incineration or standard disposal.
  • 0.5 ml syringe size is standard for delivery of most vaccines, and provides accurate dosing while preventing wastage (variable dose needle-free syringe under development).

Field Filling Device

  • A special coupling that goes between the syringe and the vial holding the vaccine allows the liquid medicine to be transferred from the primary glass packaging into the syringe.
  • Works with single and multi-dose vials of medicine, so that the injection technology functions well in both mass vaccination or single dose scenarios.
